I thought Country Lovers was incredibly sad. The two people obviously loved each other but because of apartheid, they could not be together and have a baby. The baby's coloring upset many people and because of that somebody killed it. I do not think it was a accident, a healthy baby rarely just dies. The race that it had also makes it more susceptible to be murdered. Its terrible that a baby losses its life because of the conflicts between people and the color of their skin. Overall apartheid ruins many joys in life. It splits couples, causes deaths and takes the happiness out of many lives.
