I think life in South Africa during the Apartheid is really sad because, it's not fair to treat people like that. All people should be treated equal no matter their skin, background, religion, etc. In the short story "Country Lovers" I think that the girl and boy thought they loved each other at the time, but when he realized the baby was his he knew it was wrong and didn't like her as much anymore. At the end of the story I think the girl was disappointed in how the boy acted through all of the trials and stuff. I think she really liked him but, he had lost his feelings for her. I don't believe that anyone killed the child I think that just happened.
