I disagree with Evan's response. I do not believe that Thebedi would kill her own baby. I also do not believe that she was greedy. I think Paulus killed the baby because he was scared of what other people would say. I think he was scared of what other peo0ple would say because he is white and it was socially unacceptable to be with a native Afican, like Thebedi.
